Non-repeatable PVE nodes: play now or wait until later?

So at the moment in PVE, the way I play is: when a sub opens I sweep through every node then refresh every 8hrs until the final grind at the end.

In a PVE like The Hunt there are several nodes that can only be completed once. Would it be better to wait until the end of the sub to complete these nodes? Provided they are not required to make a repeatable node available.
Would scaling come into effect to make these nodes worth more points than if I were to just play them on my first sweep?
If I do leave them until later that would put me behind the pack if just by a few hundred points. Would that make every node then worth a few more points because of rubber-banding?

I think I get the basic concept of scaling and rubber-banding but I probably don’t really understand how to best exploit them.

i don’t remember non-repeatable nodes increasing in points. If it’s 200, it stays 200.

I believe rubberbanding requires you to be a certain threshold below the top players before it takes effect. If you’re constantly refreshing every 8 hours I can’t see you ever hitting that threshold to get extra points out of the one time nodes.

I always try to finish all repeatable nodes before bothering with the non repeatable ones simply because timing matters more for those. Other than that I don’t think it really matters when you do the one time nodes.
