We’re back in 1 event only mode. Truly, this is the worst situation in the history of mankind.
Truly a first-world MPQ problem. For myself, I’ve been hoarding ISO from LRs, so I’m taking a refreshing break before whatever event comes out (presumably) tomorrow.
Aren’t we about due a weekend of sod all besides the widely-requested and much-anticipated Big Thunder round 2: enjoy ur 15k HP Thors? I don’t mark this stuff on my calendar, but I’m sure they’ve done that sometimes.
I’m hoping they re-run Thick as Thieves tomorrow, or maybe a retooled chapter 4 Heroic, or.. something, tomorrow at 12.
What sucks is I sold my Thor, but I really want GSBW covers (like, REALLY badly - and the stupid lightning rounds give random rewards, so eff that), and right now I have a 1/2/1 Thor… I might be able to push for a top 45 finish if I get 3 more Thor covers from the Triple-edged event, but so many people are packing an 85 Thor that it won’t really help until he’s in the 70’s for deterring attacks (and at that point, the ISO I got returned to me from selling him is getting wasted!).
On the bright side, I’m assuming we’ll be getting another No Holds Barred tournament, which means I can finish off my Hood. Delicious, delicious 3* thief.
Wouldn’t something be starting up at noon since Heroic is over?
I think my most wanted covers right now are Hood Yellow and Hulk Black.
I would sacrifice a lamb for a red Hulk Cover. i am a little burned out though, so I might take a slight sabbatical.
Most likely will only 1 event till tomorrow (boo), then there will probably be a weekend PvP event (could be Thor as Veracity said) + maybe a 5/7 day long event starting (most likely a repeat). It gives a break after playing virtually every LR & there’s nothing I need from “The Best There Is” event, unless I want to create alts, but I’d prefer it if the devs implemented a method for resetting skill points after a character has been adjusted .
I’m with you, best there is is a ISO grind for me, though I am working on a personal respec for Thor from 5/5/3 to 3/5/5 so no shields for me this time.
We know some form of respec is down for implementation “when they can”, and I’d be quite surprised if it doesn’t get pushed up the queue some when the pending 3* nerfs hit. Wolverine with his now obviously wrong 5/5 yellow I had no particular attachment to and can rebuild in time happily enough, but if Spider-Man and C.Mags “good” specs change, that’s unlikely to be taken so lightly by people who already have 4+ covers in any skill.
Well, since there weren’t big patch recently, that means PvE event will be re-run. I hope for red iso - I joined during Thor Hunt, so I’m interested in story.

Not big enough to like…let us know what was in it with some patch notes or anything, but there was a patch for sure.
Devs promised to be better at communicating though. I’m sure that wasn’t just a hollow placation.
There’s nothing to do right now. I want to play, but it’s not like there’s much point in playing the tourney right now.
They did announce things. They’re just keeping new content secret which they always do. Avengers Elite was one half of the new tourney content brought into the game. There’s no details on what the second half is or whether it starts this week but it’s been patched into the game.
Can’t we just have a weekend with only one tournament and no PvE like the good ol’ days? This game isn’t meant to be 24/7, otherwise health packs would have like, a 15 minute recharge
Waiting can be nice. It’ll make the game last longer; ask forgrim what it’s like when you max everyone.
Hell, I miss when PvP wasn’t always a double shot. Those 5 day tournaments where people could actually get to 800 and stay there? Good times.
Why don’t you just not play one of the events?
I wasn’t around for the good old days of a few months back, but broadly agree. That said, a non-negligible handful of people had no PvE event for the past week, which makes me think they might queue up a rerun regardless of prior plans and hold on a little longer before a breather weekend. Not much longer in suspense, either way.
Is it even possible to max everyone? X-force wolvie and IW must take ages to level to 230. I would like there to be an iso-farm event to be running at all times at least, so that I can make more progress on my 3*s.
I agree so hard. I was stoked for Heroic 4. Then I was so, so disappointed.
