I got 52 points at the moment and can only get 70 max when I finish it right now, yet the guy ranked #1 now has 174???
And its not like the points have refreshed after an hour of play.

What’s your overall rank? If someone has more points after one wave of doing all missions, it just means you got a short rubberband.
People with very high sub event points have extremely low main bracket totals.

You have a decision to make, whether you want to place very high in the overall ranking and get small rewards in the sub events, or get less good rewards in the overall ranking and get better rewards in the sub events. Depending on the kind of rewards you want and in which events, the time you’ll need to play will vary. All of this is up to want to want to do.
Meh, I stop caring about points. The only thing I aim for is the 500 ISO, recruit token and power token at the end of the sub events.
Top 600 in subs is good enough for me as long as I finish top #300 overall.
I have never, ever gotten anything besides Captain America or Wolverine from Powered Up and Gamma tokens, so I take that into consideration when looking at my sub-bracket rank.
True, true, the 1000iso is the only prize I care about.

I’ve gotten a hul and some nive 3 stars including a spidey yellow. Raaar. The rest of the time the RNG hates me.
Yeah, I’m considering tanking these sets, since gamma bombs are a lot more useful, and it doesn’t seem like my main bracket placement is moving much
I finally got a Punisher from one, the first 3* I’ve gotten from these since buying a Powered Up 10-pack at the start of the first Hulk event. Powered Up tokens and I don’t get along well.
At least I got a chuckle out of the “Whose line is it Anyways” quote…
