Padeem, Consul of Innovation's hexproof effect persists after leaving play. [Investigating]

Playing in RatC event on the last match against Tezz, he had used his loyalty ability to create Living Constructs and then cast Padeem to give the constructs hexproof. I bounced Padeem back into hand but the hexproof, that should only occur while Padeem is in play, is still on the Living Constructs.

Had a follow-up game where the hexproof did get removed when Padeem bounced, so it seems to be triggered by something else.
