So been playing this game for about a month has most my ** roster maxed but have yet to get a single patch or spider man cover so I quess what I’m trying to say is did I guys purchase them or get lucky from tokens? I would really like both of them
You’ll get them, I’ve gotten quite a few of them from just standard tokens.
If you really want them and will buy them, right now is the best chance with the guarantee tokens with the lighting rounds.
But, there are numerous chances for them when other events happen.
It all just matters how patient you are. Need now or wait?
Just note that Spider-man has a planned rework coming, so take that into consideration when buying tokens.
I think most of us earned then as PvP and PVE rewards.
Also both are in the lightning round tokens that you can either buy or win.
Patch rained from the sky a few pve events ago. Lots of people fully covered him. Spidey has never been that easily obtainable, but he is offered as rewards in events now and then.
Yup, that’s how I got him, with covers to spare as well.
I think I’ve pulled nearly every Spidey cover from tokens, though I do remember paying HP to get the 5th blue cover which had been eluding me for ages.
When there were a couple of events with Spidey as reward the last time, it was right when the whole funbalancing thing was going on. So I thought why bother… 2 months later and my spidey still sits at 5 covers or so and he is still broken…
My Patch is maxed though, as others mentioned when he was new you could get a lot of covers for him. I just recently found the last cover I needed for him from a standard token.
Took me three months of playing everyday before I was able to get a decent amount of covers for him through various tokens. I also decided to spend hard-earned HP in buying 3 of his blue covers. HP rewards were much more plentiful back then, so it wasn’t such a chore to save up the 1150.
Characters are seasonal, although some have been featured more often than others. Your best bet currently is prolly hero LRs.
Thereby ensuring that your next pull was a blue spidey.
I only got 3 Patch covers from PVE and have only pulled one since then. My spidey is fully covered but it took me ~110 days to get there (he was never my focus, and he’s still not properly spec’d - currently 5/4/4).
When Patch was introduced we was falling from the sky. Many people could max it or even discard another dozen of covers. Then he kinda disappeared, so later comers can get only from tokens. Probably your best chance is to fight hero LR and use the C. token’s 1/6 chance.
Spiderman was prize in a few tournaments in last months, I recall winning some of him twice. Another 1/6 chance from said token.
I must have missed when Patch was raining from the sky. I seem to remember him and Ares being released around the same time, but I really don’t know. Last night, I was lucky enough to pull my first Patch Red cover rom a lightning round token.
Yes, they came almost together and events allowed to max both and win both using each other. And IIRC patch was prize in One Man Army both rounds. And that was the last or him.
Every Thick as Thieves sub event awarded Patch covers. That’s where I got all of mine.
I just want to comment about the “Patch rain”. As someone that didn’t have maxed out 2* heroes at the time it was not raining on everyone during that PvE.
I think I got three from that entire event and I’ve only pulled one from a token since. I’m hoping that commenting on this will sway lady luck to bestow another one on me soon.
Did anyone else read this title and think this was a post about an announced patch and what it did to Spider-Man?
For the record, after the endless period of wait I got a green Patch for 12th cover from a standard 2 days ago.
Amazingly enough, that hasn’t happened yet. I’m really quite surprised at that.
I have a currently speced 3/0/5 Spidey, I cannot find that blue cover. As for raining, right now it has been raining Punisher’s, I would like to see him shelved a bit.
Punisher was always promoted by being in the progressions. The late change is in mis-estimation of related points. Old times you had to work really hard even for the second. Not like overshooting the third almost twice.
I was struggling for the last red many times to just to not reach it.
I didn’t have max two stars either. I took advantage of the fact that broken scaling got introduced and nobody wanted to play. I tanked to lower the scaling which not everybody knew about. Patch for like half of it had his green give you all of the strike tiles. I still only have one 85 two star (obw) and a 120 Patch.
