R62.1 Android Only Patch Notes
A quick update went into the game today for Android users. User Interface fixes that didn’t quite make it into R62.
UI
Re-implemented Google Play log-in.
Back Button now properly advances in pre and post-battle conversation screens.
Is this causing LR scores to not update properly?
It caused MPQ to end while it updated, mid-LR match, which tanked my score for that LR.
Not that I’m complaining, or want free things. Just venting! Juuuuust venting. It’s good for the soul.
It’s not a forced update, so you should be able to hit “skip” until you are ready to update (after your match(es)).
My PVP scores were going haywire for a few minutes, which was a little concerning because I wanted to shield, but it seems to have calmed down now.
My new phone went ahead and just did it for me. Might have to re-do my GooglePlay settings again.
These things happen - not going to lose sleep over one LR.
Not sure if it’s update related or hamster (server) related, but lots of problem in PVP and LR land right now.
This patch broke the point gages at the end of pvp matches on both Android and PC versions. Not sure about iOS.
If something is breaking on PC and Android, that’s not related to the R62.1 patch. Possibly the daily data patch, but I’m not sure how since that was just a bog standard localization update. Still something to look into.
iOS too. I gave to force close the app to see my real score but after a match it goes back to score I had this morning.
Seems to be intermittent. Some of my matches get points, some get an empty gage. On Steam too. Maybe the patch is putting a ton of stress on the servers for some reason?
In the future, if you can, please give us a heads up even when a minor update like this is going through. People tend to get antsy when updates showed up unannounced.

Can’t imagine why that would be the case but we’re definitely looking into it. Stranger things have happened!

I am also seeing my past score if I click on the player ranking tab. I am still receiving progression rewards and I can see my real score if I reset the program, but it changes back to an incorrect score after a few minutes.
Seems to be fixed, my last 2 wins have been consistent - moved from 202 to 226, without any glitching.
Fixed the server issue preventing proper client syncing of scores. Everything should be resyncing over the next few minutes.
I was wondering about that. It clearly was updating correctly on the back end, but my screen kept showing weird things. I had not done the update, I will now. Thanks!
No problem. Upside is that it was all OK on the server end so no one should have actually lost anything. Just wonkiness on the client side.
Has anyone else had a problem with the new update causing their device to reboot? I’ve had no problem with my Galaxy S3, but now whenever it goes to the load screen, it reboots the entire device.
