The silhouette with the shades just looks odd - especially when shrunk down for the tile icons.
Why not make it a palm tree - to symbolise Tahiti. It’s a recognisable shape that can be made simple enough and retains it’s visual clarity even when shrunk to a small size. It’s not like there’s going to be a rush of characters who are somehow inexplicably linked to palm trees are going to start filling the game - we’ve got Blade and Kate who have more than enough of a hold on the “glasses” market.

In fact, screw the symbols-inside-circles nonsense. Lola deserves her own tile SHAPE. Coulson’s tiles will be variant colors of a 1962 Chevy Corvette.
I’m more annoyed that “super secret shield tech” is just a pistol that shoots lightning and not this.
Requesting unimportant (opinion) changes likes this only means delaying more meaningful changes. Time and resources are finite. Do you want them redesigning pictures or improving gameplay, balance, rewards, or anything else that actually makes us happy?

The people who would redesign pictures and the people working on gameplay/balance etc are most likely not the same people. Telling the art people that Coulson’s symbol is fine doesn’t magically give them skills to work on other aspects of the game.
Just realised: what are they going to do when they add Shades to the game? (probably Luke Cage season 2 cross over, so a while away, but still…)
I thought it looked kinda dumb, but I think a petition about it is silly. There are much bigger issues facing the game.
I’m surprised they didn’t simply just use the Shield logo. They did change Bullseyes symbol when his 3* was released and they changed Colosuss (not sure why).

With the comic book time effect, it’s becoming harder and harder for characters to have been present during certain infamous past eras without massive retconning. Magneto gets de-aged every so often so that he can be plausibly a Holocaust survivor, as it’s such a big part of his character. Colossus these days is barely even old enough to remember the Soviet Union, and it tends to get glossed over.

There’s basically one point in history that never changes, and that’s the second world war. Everything else is “some time ago”.
When did the Avengers get formed? Some time ago.
When did the first Civil War happen? Some time ago.
It’s why in Internation Iron Man, suddenly young Tony Stark is using a mobile phone when Tony Stark was already old before MS DOS existed when it came to comics.
Things just shift along the time line as required, stretching away from WW2.
