please help, drastic level reduction in characters

hi there, i might be a complete noob for asking this,
but i was able to purchase a few characters by paying gold.
i got a level 55 hawkeye modern
level 90 ms marvel

it was great, i was kicking everythings butt, all of a sudden, out of nowhere,
both my characters were reduced to level 15.

can anyone explain this phenomenon to me? thanks!

Those heroes are boosted only in the Hunt event thats going on right now. Outside of that they will have their actual levels. I think Ms.Marvel gets a +75 level boost and hawkeye +40 in the Hunt.
