You don’t join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a “fresh” bracket at your own risk.
Useful info to provide
1)Time slice you are in
2)Current amount of people in bracket
3)Leader in bracket with amount of points
4)Time you joined the event, if it was not right before posting in the thread.
Time slice - _______
Current bracket - _______ people
Leader - _______ (name) / _______ points
Any update on the slice 3 vet after the last one filled? Also shout out to Dr. STRANGE? Who posted bracket the other day. I got busy and forgot to say thank you.
Quite a while ago someone on the forums suggested that I take a look at these bracket size threads when joining an event to try and get an easier time in PvE. Since then I have joined every PvE the second it started, with mixed results (sometimes I finish T5, others T100).
I did however miss the start of this run of Prodigal Sun and figured may as well jump on here and see whats what.
As a Bracket Size watcher I guess what I’m supposed to try and do is start an event when there is a fresh bracket opening up, but was after a little guidance on what else is involved (if anything).
There are mentions of Vet bracket or Noob bracket in these threads quite a lot. Can you just tell the type of bracket by the points the others have when you join, or is this just an assumption that because you have played well recently you will be in Vet?
Also, I thought calling out other peoples IGN was frowned upon, at least in Gen Pop it is. Here it’s quite acceptable, why is that? Just curious is all.
With the above being said I’m looking to join Slice 3 and from looking above its already pretty full. Should I be waiting for someone to report back that the Slice is indeed at 1000 before starting the event?
Thanks for clarifying a few things OJSP. Its good to know whats what. I take it that the idea is not to give you an advantage as much as making sure your not player 1000 and chasing the pack.
If your could update when you get chance SteveO-J it would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry Wooodd, I would have updated my bracket info a bit sooner if I could have but unfortunately I was was busy when it filled. Good thing it worked out ok and you got into a fresh bracket. Cheers!
