Prof X passives and MHawkeye's Speed Shot

Is Prof X passive supposed to be triggered by each SpeedShot tile activating?

I was fighting in Simulator and I matched all but 1 of MHawkeye’s Speed Shot tiles, and when it went off, Prof X did his passive buff. I did not believe the tiles going off was considered the ability being used, rather it being the effect of the ability.

Is this because his Speed Shot is a passive ability and Prof X would not trigger when Speed Shot activates and creates the CD Tiles? Does that then leave Prof X triggering on each tile that explodes?

It completely baffled me, and threw my match into chaos. I was able to recover and beat it, but that was completely unexpected. Can we get clarification? I do not have Prof X in my roster for testing.

And Kamala Khan’s team heal fires every time Blaze’s green tile fires - that means EVERY SINGLE TURN. That’s not right, either.
