I’ll add the number of covers you can get from missions to character pages on the wiki.

EDIT: I Added cover rewards to wiki character pages. If someone is interested in stats for meaningful missions rewards:

There’s a slight mistake on Chapter 2,

1 of the rewards supposed to be " Thor (Marvel NOW!) Red ", not Green.
Hence the total rewards you could got from the missions were 1G, 1R & 1Y respectively.

An update for the “Tall, Dark, and Nasty” node at the start of the Venom chapter: One of each of Ms.Marvel’s covers are awarded in place of the Bag-Man covers now.

Is there any rhyme or reason to when you get drops (ie, you beat a mission in a particular way or a certain # of times) or is it just random and I have to grind each mission 10+ times to get all 4 rewards?

Random, some may take well over 10 times. When starting out though, even those 20 iso finishes help some.
