[MOD MIC ON] This is just a reminder that participants in the Duel Decks beta agreed upon sign up not to talk about the event publicly. Mods will remove any posts that discuss details of the event that have not been included in public information such as the blog, the form or the Release Notes. When @Brigby returns to the office from NYCCC, he may review and reinstate these posts. [//MOD MIC OFF]
So, there is an NDA, even though it is in OPEN beta?
Can’t remember any other game that has done so, ever ![]()
It was all in the form you submitted.
It’s more a cross between an apple and an orange…
Everyone agreed to join as if it was a closed beta, that’s how the legalities are set up, that some bits have leaked into live as if it were an Open beta doesn’t change the legal side.
That’s all great and all, not mentioning any specifics out of respect to nda.
just wondering what the purpose is. Almost all of the content is visible to nonparticipants…it’s not like there’s really any big secrets.
I get the NDA thing, but how does that cover whether or not the event is running? I mean, we’re not spoiling any event details or anything, just the fact that the Beta itself is not working properly. Is that a violation?
The big thread wasn’t taken down. I posted the dedicated support information and closed it so that it wouldn’t get buried.
