PSA: Update rescheduled

People may not realize that the first post in Brigby’s thread was edited, because it doesn’t show up as needing to be re-read. Thus, this is a PSA:

Update: The server maintenance has been re-scheduled to the following times below. We will also be rolling the 2.0 update out during this downtime.

Start: 04/27/17 at 10:00am EDT / 2:00pm UTC / 7:00am PDT
End: 04/27/17 at 1:00pm EDT / 5:00pm UTC / 10:00am PDT

Please note that this start time is before the end of the Nodes of Power event, meaning you have one hour less to finish your final set of nodes.

@brigby Do you remember awhile back when I asked why, after Daylight Savings Time, the event times moved forward properly (now ending at 8:00am PDT) but update times did not (as shown above) I asked that because the event was cut short unexpectedly/unnecessarily. Would it be possible for them to adjust their update times to not truncate our event?

I do remember, which is why I immediately reached out to the developers to request the start time for the rescheduled server maintenance be pushed back an hour.

Unfortunately due to the amount of time necessary for this server maintenance to successfully be completed, we were unable to push the schedule back one hour. In the future, we will be sure to keep event schedules in mind and do our best to limit the impact on them.
