Purple cover images after server update?

I just had one of those kick back to load screen moments that I have been told can be related to server updates.

Since then, the versus event cover art is just purple and black boxes.

I can still play, but it seems weird.

Anyone else seeing this?

Iphone 5S, 7.0.4

(My practice has always been to stop updating my OS as soon as Apple releases a new product because I find that the new OS just makes the older phones run like crap… possibly to encourage people to keep chasing that new device.)

I got a push message to update MPQ and it looks like there’s no issue following the update.
