We really really need a way to sort rosters looking for character who do things with special tiles (create, destroy etc). Or we need a sticked thread in the hints form that lists all the character who do such things.
Anyway, how are people creating the enemy strikes (the 1st node with required character). I know all about Patch and Elektra and I know Mantis can give mine away. But who else can create enemy strikes or give mine away to the enemy. I’m having an incredibly tough time because it seems the board is always swimming in Black and Loki wrecks everything with his Black power so I’m thinking I need 1 stunner so that leaves me with only 1 other character I can use.
Bring 4* Panther and spam out protects, leave black on the board to allow enemy loki to flip them. In the meantime, bring 4*/3* Elektra, 5* Colossus, Patch Wolverine, Sabretooth, Polaris, 3* Carol can make a single enemy strike.
Anytime there’s a puzzle gauntlet I always refer back to this google document I found a while back that does a few things but one of the tabs groups all characters with what the powers do(create certain colored tiles/special tiles/tile destroyers/etc). It does get updated every so often when new characters drop but doesn’t look like the power section gets updated like the tier list since Kamala wasn’t listed in the fortified tiles section as that’s what I used for that node this time. But it’ll at least show what all the classics do so you spend less time thinking what would work in each situation
Or be like me who has only Polaris with 3* Dr. Strange equipped with his Sanctum Sanctorum support which makes Protect tiles. Fill the board, profit…?! xDD
