PVE advice - Which hero to get rid of? Updated.

I just got 4 covers of Falcon from the event that just past. The problem is I have no roster spots available and I don’t have enough HP to add another, so I need to remove someone from my roster. I have an idea of who I am going to remove but I would love some insight from the community’s experienced PVE players. Just so you know I don’t currently do pvp so when giving insight please exclude anything you would advise a pvp player to do. Thanks.

EDIT: I want to mention that I am in a competitive alliance so me having Falcon on my roster is important. I have 5 2 stars characters that I use constantly due to my 3 and 4 stars not being that great(Ares, Thor, Black Widow, Storm and Magneto). I’ve listed all my 3 stars with 5 or less covers. Colossus is the only 3 star I’ve listed that has 6 or more covers.

I know my roster isn’t all that but I still manage to pull great numbers and be in top 10s and top 5s icon_e_smile.gif

UPDATE: I’ve dropped my 6 cover Colossus and added in the 4 cover Falcon. I still can pick up Colossus from the Big Enchilada, however he may get the axe if I don’t get a decent amount of HP cause the next roster spot goes to Wolverine X-Force that I got this morning. I also got 2 Squirrel girl covers as well.

Not the answer you want but I would say; keep every 3* you get your hands on. Throwing one away now will handicap you in the future.

I dumped pretty much every 1 star after they made 2 star mandatory… Kept all 3 stars. You might need to buy some roster slots.

All of them are 3 stars including Falcon which is one of the characters needed for this event. So I need to remove 1 of the ones listed. I don’t have any 1 stars on my roster and only a few 2s that I use all the time.

can’t get rid of any in PVE, you need them for essentials + ultron essentials + whatever antman 30 day event will be

just telling u how it is. If you want to be prepared for 2*/3*/4* essential + Ultron + Whatever Antman 30 day event is, you’ll need every character and none are expendable in PVE.

I will suggest that you wait for Deadpool daily quest to come, use your Colossus to win a Colossus, sell the existing Colossus, and recruit Falcon. Recruit back the Colossus in your inventory within 14 days which should not be that hard.

That’s what I did for the Mystique buyback ha ha.

Get rid of Bullseye. He has the least amount of covers.

Are you playing the simulator competitively and need falcon for the essential? If you’re not chasing Cap Marvel and just want to farm progressions, you can leave falcon floating in your queue until you get the hp to roster him - have 14 days in which to do so.

Also, give pvp a shot. If you have an evenly levelled pve roster, you can push to at least 400 for the hp.

Agreed. If you really have to let one go either least covered or least useful. Binned three stars strategically before but never happy about it.

Yes competitively with my alliance, so I need to add him. I’m a story focused player.

What they said, if you really have to bin a 3* instead of a 2* then bin the one with the least covers…

If Iron Man has 3+ Yellow covers you could bin him.

Or you could grind PvE.. daily T10 nets you at least 50HP + Alliance rewards overall finish may give you enough in 10 days.

I’ve edited the OP with info…I’ve added all my 3 stars that have 5 or less covers. Some I originally didn’t list like Cyclops and Black Panther because I noticed they don’t come up as often as others. I’ve also added in the fact that I am in a competitive alliance and Falcon is going to need to be added for this event.. if I was just looking for laid back progression I would just let him sit and wait for a spot to open but that’s not the case.

I understand exactly why you said that. I didn’t mention that I’m in a competitive pve alliance that does pretty well so I definitely need to add him. I should of mentioned that in my original post to begin with.

Someone said it before your edits. Dump a 2 star.

You said you have 5 you use all the time but only listed 4. If it was me I would drop Magneto. He is good but not as good as widow thor or ares.

There is no hard and fast answer. You have a few options but it looks like you’re going to run into the same problem over and over.

From my experience the two characters on your list that get the least play are IM40 and colossus. Even boosted and with quite a few covers they’re just not that good.

If you’re looking at it from the perspective of having the essentials for PvE then you could trawl back and see who has featured most recently and is then (hopefully) less likely to reappear soon giving you longer to get the HP for a slot. The other thing to be aware of is that most PvEs are hero-centric so you may be safer dropping a villain.

If it was me I would drop IM40, only situationally useful, not that many covers and iirc was featured fairly recently. The suggestion about getting colossus from DPD and then ditching the one you have is also a good idea.

Personally I would drop Cyclops because you only have 1 cover for him. Get a lucky heroic token, and you’ll replace it. icon_lol.gif

I decided to remove Colossus. I can still get him again as you mentioned in the Big Enchilada. I got 4 star Logan and 2 Squirrel Girl covers this morning so Colossus may end up getting axed before he even gets into my roster if I don’t get enough HP cause 4 star Logan will be who gets the next spot. And yes Colossus in my opinion wasn’t that great. When I really thought about it I think my 2 stars are more valuable to me than him.
