5th guy from chapter 2 gives a bfz/ogw 5 card pack. dont know if theyre supposed to give good drop rates, but i opened it up and got a mythic tyrant of valakut, 2 rares deepfathom skulker, (my 4th one) zada (my 6th -_-) an uncomon and a comon

I got complete crap from that one so doesnt look to be “special event” packs.

How do you beat these monsters at the higher levels. Stuck on the last level of Chapter 1.

Kozilek has also:

  • Linvala the preserver
  • remorseless punishment
  • crush of tentacles

Used both together to overcome my cheese first strike I was using to get objective icon_e_sad.gif

Damn this objective is hard…
You get a big first strike? Kill
You get many or hexproof? Bounce and kraken.
“Low” health minions? Tyrant.

He has an answer for anything.

I found that Lilliana can beat most of the objectives fairly easily, just have half your deck be creature kill, a couple big fat fatties, a deathtouch guy, a card draw spell, and a reanimation spell.

Kill everything the turn it comes out, make them discard their hand, reanimate a fatty and wait for the win.

Yes Liliana has always been great for pve encounters.
While you control the discard skill is a part of he control too. The first card in hand discarded leads often to big mana loss for them.
Also with some draw you can basically constantly empty their hand blocking almost anything.

The huge buff to ruinous path gives also a little speed in winning(almost always you end using the awaken effect now).

World Breaker also has Kozilek, the Great Distortion. Was a very unpleasant surprise to see him make an appearance in my last game against World Breaker. However… I managed to get a Hedron Blade out the turn before it (and forgot about it)!

Just go liliana reanimator to win vs kozi. He wont be able to recover from the constant discard

Kozilek does NOT use guardian of tazeem (though it is in one of the other encourage ERs,forget which) but instead uses Sphinx of the final word, which makes Liliana just about irrelevant, when coupled with his easily spammable special.

Discard doesn’t work.

Creature kill doesn’t work

Mana ramp creature stomp doesn’t work with the ludicrous life total he’s got.

OGideon doesn’t work between tyrant, crush and remorseless you can’t keep enough on the board.

Blue anti-mana doesn’t work because it’s slow, and Kozilek gets riDONKulous mana, on top of his special.

Kozilek has the health to withstand a zerg rush weenie deck long enough to drop a tyrant or two to clear the board.

The ONE (!?!) rare in the deck would be a mythic if it cost 16 instead of twenty.

I’d try Kiora lockdown, but I don’t have the rare and mythic cards to pull it off (drowner of hope, from beyond, bring to light, etc.)

Thanks for the heads up; I had assumed all of the cards already listed in the OP were correct, so was only looking for unlisted cards for each enemy until there were 10 total.

Just edited my previous post to reflect the updated list for Kozilek; hopefully everything else will turn out to be accurate, but if not, let me know, and I’ll try to check back a couple more times this weekend to make any other changes if needed.
