I’m just thrilled that the Nick Fury cover isn’t a blue one. My 2/5/4 Nick Fury has had to sell eight Demolition covers so far.

Of course, I need to get through a Heroic Juggernaut event to get it…but one thing at a time.

Sigh the progression had to be

. On one hand my 5/5/2 Nick is delighted. On the other, I’ll be busy in real life for the next 4 days. Gah

I’m in the same boat as you both: My 3/5/4 Fury needs it (unlike previous Demolitions I’ve had to sell), but it’s a Heroic after what felt like 7 days of non-stop Juggernaut in the last event (but was probably only 3-4 days of non-stop Juggs).

In any case, Squirrel Girl, 3* Blade & 3* Strange (all champed) took care of business in the main sub.

I was just going to skip it…then started playing with DPXF since XF is reinforcement first day.

Scaling goes up to my top characters (5*'s ignored) and they are true healing?

WOAH, this is so broken! I can run every node, never needing health packs! Imagine if MMR went to your top WOLVERINE CHARACTER that had TRUE HEALING and you never needed health packs EVERY DAY!!!

That character would be nerfed so fast! Ha ha ha, imagine playing like that all the time! Wait…what???

(at least you have the chance to EARN the 4* XF…)

This is my first event with two champed 4 stars to use, and HOLY COW, this is really easy?
Is it really normally this easy, or has my difficulty just been skewed before?

My 28k hp Nick and 22k hp Xforce Wolverine are just one shotting everything? (so is my 13k hp XPool for that matter, his red is doing almost 8k)

The Venom Bomb with Thoress required was my first event with a champed 4 star, and it felt easy too- having 36k hp and hitting enemies for 10k-18k made it a breeze, but this one is just way too easy. At their strongest, Venom and Doc Ock are only at 19k and 17k hp each? I’ve never had more health and damage than my strongest nodes before…

Is this just me? Is this what I’ve been building up to, and I’m now enjoying the glory of champed 4 stars? Is my scaling just wack?

This has been a more fun event for me as well since my XForce, XFDP and Fury are all champed.

But it all depends on who is buffed for the event. Hulk and Venom Bomb were no where near as enjoyable.

This heroic is a breath of fresh air after the slog of the hulk event. Plus a champed fury and 3strange makes it a load of fun.

UGH but not using him on the higher level nodes with Doc Oc: horrible combination of so-so characters and bad luck with the boards. I’d get 1/5 of the countdown tiles before they’d resolved, so lots of enemy heals and pistol shots made for a painful and looooong match.

ETA: decided to risk it and bring him along anyway. Doc Oc made one match out of all the rest of the clears before he got smoked by either the attack tiles or simple match damage, huzzah!

No, this is what it is having boosted 4s available. Now, mind you, the levels will be the same when none of your 4s are boosted and can be fiendishly difficult (my hardest node tops out at 320 boosted or not), but boosted 4*s really open up a world of fun. Yes, the game gets to be fun again as you make that transition!

Yes, don’t be afraid to haul out Blade against Doc Ock unless he’s paired with red users like Symbiotes (or I guess purple users like HAMMER agents if you use Blade’s purple). He won’t match red (or purple) by default unless there are no black, blue, green, or TU matches available or it’s a match-4/5.

Yes, don’t be afraid to haul out Blade against Doc Ock unless he’s paired with red users like Symbiotes (or I guess purple users like HAMMER agents if you use Blade’s purple). He won’t match red (or purple) by default unless there are no black, blue, green, or TU matches available or it’s a match-4/5.

Yeah mainly I was just wary of bad luck with the board and cascades. I did try for a fifth clear close to the end of the sub and got several attack tiles boosted by those damned strike tiles from the goon for my trouble. Decided to nope right out of that attempt when Oc got enough blue AP despite my efforts to deny him. A bit more points and ISO was not worth it.

Medusa/Strang3 and either KP or Blade make quick work of just about any node. The first two are damage machines together, especially against goons.

I used Winter Soldier on the KP nodes.
Never used him before (that’s what you get when you can’t even run your champed 4s, thanks champed 5s!), but my god his red and blue are amazing when buffed.
Amazing as in 6k per trap tile and 32k if you match your red tile.
Power creep is real.

While the boosted chars aren’t bad, like every heroic it drags due to the lack of any decent acceleration compared to regular events.

Who would have thought Heroic could be so fun? A champed 3* Blade throwing out passive strike tiles with “Thirst,” newly awarded 4* Medusa passively causing damage and occasional attack tiles with “Entanglement,” and 3* Doc Strange healing / attacking with passive “Flames of Faltine”.

Blade 3strange, and a champed fury…just killing it. I laugh at KP and his finger push. This is how the other half lives, I want more.

I think this is one of the first heroics that I can remember where is just so synergy for making great combos.

Lucky enough to have Kingpin, Xpool, Winter Soldier and Ghost Rider all champed for this. Having Xpool offsets the loss of Kingpin in the harder nodes of the 2nd sub (7K damage for an X-Enforcer retaliation). Ghost Rider is just tearing up all the trivial to medium nodes with Dr. Strange. And Bucky is a nuke beast, though you have to be careful with his countdowns and traps.

And Wasp is …meh. I was hoping she would turn out to be one of those secretly awesome 4*’s when they get full covered and boosted (mine just turned 4/5/4), but alas.
