Gwenpool was the last fourstar released Before my forced hiatus, so she’s very sparsely covered. Since this is her second time being rewarded, this means she will be eligble for the next round of Crash of the Titans

I have to say this is the first time in ages I have played 3* Punisher and he has not aged well. His abilities all do okay things, but the numbers he puts out even when champed are just underwhelming. He is just another faceless face in the 3* farm these days.

The Coulson essential in the last sub is absolutely murderous. Even though I have several boosted 4* champions for this event (Hulkbuster, Iceman, Punisher), it’s a pain as always playing this node. Who on earth had the idea to pair Carnage with two Muscles?

Wasn’t too bad for me. As soon as I see goons, I bring Doctor Strange and typically pair him with Luke Cage (both the 3*s). I’ll target Carnage and as the goons put out their countdowns, Strange does his damage and Carnage puts out the tiles. I’ll try to match those away and build purple/blue. If I get enough blue to stun, target Carnage again and between the goons putting out countdowns and the damage from Strange’s blue tile, he’s down. I can usually get a clear or two without using healthpacks. It does suck that Coulson’s passive can lower Strange’s countdown tile, which is something you don’t want cause it is one less turn of damage.

As it scales up and I’m doing 4+ clears, it is a pain though. At that point, I’ll usually counter Carnage with Carnage and throw all caution to the wind. Bring some of the boosted characters from that event I don’t plan on using on other nodes and let chaos ensue.

My Medusa is just eating up the Carnage nodes, I almost feel sorry for the old symbiote.

I did the final Coulson Node with 4
Luke Cage and 3
Dr. Strange. Luke keeps the attack tiles in check and Strange kills. It takes quite some time but so far (7 clears) it has been very successful.

How many points is a single clear of the last sub-bracket? I was locked out yesterday due to the Android bug, and cannot play until after work.

I am thinking I can pull off the Coulson progression but that is about it.

I just really hope they do implement the SCL based scaling before this runs again. Those carnage nodes sucked.
