So, 33k for max progression in 4 days? Considering it was over 50k in past editions? Can anybody say piece of cake?
EDIT: Total points after sub 1: 7950. 3 full clears, 3 essentials. That’s 24% of the max progression target, therefore I expect 3 full clears (with 3 essentials) to be enough.
EDIT: Total points after sub 2: 24607 (+16657). 5 full clears, 3 essentials. Figured I couldn’t make top 50 with 4 clears, so I decided to go a little bit harder here then take a break in the next sub to focus on PvP.
EDIT: Total points after sub 3: 30286 (+5679). 1 full clear + 2 nodes, 3 essentials. One more clear in sub 4 should be enough.
EDIT: Total points after sub 4: 33086 (+2800). Less than 1 clear → Mission achieved with about 10 clears in the whole event, or 2.5 clears per day. I can live with that. Now grinding for top 50…
I’m curious to see how the new PVE scaling affects the notorious Magneto/Hood “Business Partners” node on the final day. The good news is, with such a forgiving max progression target, even if it’s still tough, grinding that node won’t be much of a concern unless you’re going for T10.
I think this will also be my first event with X-23 boosted since I champed her in the wake of the EotS test. I’ve been having a lot of fun teaming her with IM40, so I’m looking forward to seeing how that plays out.
I’ve found a fairly fun team to use is X-23, Daken, and
Mr Fantastic
All of them have true healing. There are lots of strike tiles to make Tracking Prey cheap, and to help with Imaginaut’s damage. It’s about the only time I use Mr Fantastic, but it works well.
That’s some interesting food for thought. My Stretcho has 10 covers and his 4* Crash is coming up in a week, so maybe I’ll throw a little ISO his way and see how that works out, since I never use him otherwise.
But I suspect I’ll spend a good deal of time with my All-Claw All-Stars: OML, X-23 and Daken. My OML only has 4 covers, but still, so many strike tiles, so much healing. Should make fast work of most of the easy/medium nodes without taking much damage.
Trust me…if I had a yellow for OML to True Heal him instead of my 2/0/0, that switch would be a given. If I ever do get a yellow for OML, a lot of ISO will be heading his way.
boosted x23 is a beautiful thing. her green hits for 8k and her trap is around 11k if you match it and a whopping 20k when the enemy matches it. she also plays nicely with hulkbuster and nova, except my nova is way away from prime time.
and i love these progressions. lets see how long they last.
I agree that boosted X-23 is nice. However, a boosted 4-star Jean Grey? Well, that’s just like having your own personal cheat code for these rounds. 7K to the enemy team for 10 purple?
It’s a wonderful thing, insanely fast. I hit 4 full clears in under am hour I think. 20 minutes at lunch, half an hour after work. I was running her with Scarlet Witch and Ironman yesterday, them realised that swapping Ironman for Prof X made it br00tal.
I’m enjoying getting 2 cp per sub and these two easily made max prog 25 cp awards. I might not ever place top 50 again, but I didn’t really play pve competitive pve to begin with.
