First chance for me to try out the new and improved Star-Lord in PvE. Should be fun.
Might give my Kate Bishop a whirl too to see if she’s tough enough at ten covers…

Oh she’s tough enough. Her damage is brutal on all of her abilities, especially once they hit 5 covers. This will be a fun event to come off of an MPQ break seeing that boosted list, especially since I champed Kate a couple weeks ago.

Agreed on Kate. I just finished champing her yesterday and playing with her today, Sweet Fancy Moses her Blue is a killer. 19K damage for just 12ap. All of them are great when boosted. I had her at 5/5/3 since I figured Teen Jean and Switch were the quickest way to clear everything the fastest on a new character release, but she’s so much fun to use at 5/3/5 with Thing/IM40. One recharge (welcome back 6ap) and you’ve got at least 3 single target nukes ready to go.

I just wish the Wasp reward cover wasn’t a yellow one; my 4/1/1 needs a few others! (Still not quite as sparse as my 0/0/4 Kate Bishop, though.)

My 1/5/5 Wasp is ecstatic to get a yellow
She might become my first 4 champ eventually right now i have dino 12 covers (needs to wait 6 months for 365 days), wasp soon to be 12, red hulk at 9 coversand everyone else less.
With 7 single cover 5*s at level 270
Should i save up 120 cp to get Wasp’s final yellow cover?

Not if she’s your first 4*. She’s generally considered lower tier and needing a rework, despite some interesting ideas in her make up. I am planning to champ her as I got covers from the Heroic for her and she’s maxed, but I also have 22 other 4*’s already champed so I can afford the deadweight. I haven’t played her much until this event and while I see some promise in her, overall she’s not that impressive.

Unless 5 of those 9 Red Hulk covers are his red power, he would be a much better investment in your ISO and the one to lead your 4* vanguard. He’s a one trick pony but when your one trick is destroying entire teams quickly, it’s a pretty nice trick.

Unless Wasp is your favorite character from the books, I would save the CP and just rely on classic LT draws for now.

So this never happens, but for some reason after doing 4 clears on the last sub, I’m in 85th place in the event. Do I have a realistic shot of top 100 assuming I finish off all the nodes somewhat close to the end? Or is that just false hope?

As long as 15 people in your bracket doesn’t do a better end grind than you, sure. Are you able to do the grind at the very end of the event?
