reward spread for CL6 is only 250 iso. If I don’t manage 1st place there is no tangible benefit for me between the 2nd and 3rd reward tiers.
Yup. Reward gaps between SCLs have been a problem and major complaint for a while. They have spread out SCL7-9 a little more, but they are still too close IMO.
