It’d be cool to have a pve event that faced you off against a team identical to the one you were using for a particular match. As it stands now, the only way to get an even match up for your lowest level characters is to play in the prologue. If you want to try out your spiffy new character you’ve only found two covers for, that’s a bit limiting.

I think it would be fun’ but highly exploitable. It would be easy to find great combos that work tremendously for you but not the ai.

The AI doesn’t play your team in your style. I don’t see how that’s beneficial.
I’d love to see a 1* only tourney or a 2* only tourney. Mirror match maybe or a “practice” mode where you could set the opponents character/level but not necessarily earn iso/lose characters health at the end to see how your bunch might fair against other combinations
There was a 1* tournament a while back. Everyone thought it would be good for newer players, but in reality what happened is that there was very little team diversity and everyone was max level.
I think the big problem was the prizes were still desirable for older players. If top prizes were all 2* covers and it ran concurrently with another event (or another PvP plus a PvE), that’d be way better for newer players, I think. Older players might still play to iso farm, but they probably wouldn’t try to place at all.
All you have to do now to see that is run a team with 85th level Thor, OBW, and the featured player in the tournament. Every other team will be exactly the same!
I’d scrap more for MNMags covers at the moment than Punishers. Not that I expect I’ll ever use the guy, it just bugs me that I have multiple 3*s capped at 100 or more and still couldn’t if I wanted to.
Maybe we’ll see Mimic in a PvE sometime.
Haven’t we seen this before? I could have sworn I’ve seen 85 Thor, 85 Wolverine and 85 OBW teams a few times.
I was wondering who would say this first. But in all honesty, 1* was done already. For me, it had opponents with all maxed out covers. It would be cool to put in a “mirrored team simulator” alongside the S.H.I.E.L.D. Simulator and offer 50 ISO only instead of the variety of 70/140. It would encourage people to try out their teams, or it would add one more element for which people could cry over “that other player can get more ISO than me with that broken AI team”.
