Agreed! I want Peggy so much! I’m kinda mad it’s a double iso event, it’s gonna be harder for me to place.

Sooo… 52k in 4 days, that’s 13k per day on average. Here’s my plan:

Sub 1: 10.5k
Sub 2: 26k
Sub 3: 15.5k

EDIT sub 1: 4 full suboptimal clears (all essentials) and I have 9213 points, which is ~1.3k below my target. Clearly this pace is not gonna cut it. For sub 2 I’ll try doing 3 clears after work today, then 1 tomorrow morning, then 5 tomorrow after work and 1 more the next day before work (= 10 clears).

EDIT sub 2: aaaaand it’s a failure. I didn’t grind as much as I wanted at first because I got bored, so instead of 10 clears I did only 8 (suboptimal, too). This brings my score to 31313 (+22100), whereas the target was 36500 at this stage, so I’m 5187 points behind. Unless I can score considerably more in sub 3 than my prediction, I won’t get full progression this time. At least I’m ranked #31 right now, so I can probably get a Peggy cover even if I slow down a bit. That’s almost as good as 25CP, right?

EDIT (another for sub 2): had to grind a little bit more to ensure sub top 50, almost finished a 9th clear and now up to 32958 (23745 in sub 2)

EDIT sub 3: yay!
I had actually underestimated the points available in the last sub. With 5 clears I was able to reach the goal with 52104 points (+19146). It also doesn’t hurt that I’m very likely to be in the top 100 (maybe top 50) for a Peggy token.
For future reference, here’s a summary:

Sub 1: 4 clears / 9.2k
Sub 2: 8.5 clears / 23.7k
Sub 3: 5 clears / 19.1k

IM40 / Fist / Marvel for that final node. As long as you get 6 yellow or 5 purple you should be all right. Purple to black to 2-turn stuns as needed. Yellow to charge everything else.

wow. cp progression is very high here. last run was 33K. 52K seems really high - around 7X per node? guess they expect a ton of high scores in this.

edit: miscalculated the 48 hr middle sub. its right at 4x full pt clears. any suboptimal will add a little to that.

Finally i got some good advice here, thanks! Also maybe I can add here Electra’s Purple?

With that tip, I tried Elektra and Scarlet Witch on the Hawkeye essential node, as my Hawkeye is fully covered but still LVL 15. That team worked way better than it had any right to work. I was using SW to generate purple for Elektra, but I didn’t even think about the combo of SW with Speed Shot until the first time it happened. He’s no Professor X, but he still kicks some butt there.

I feel like people underestimate Hawkeye a lot. I have him with Thor and CStorm pretty often and Speed Shot has taken out half a team for me, on top of his being red/blue adding damage to Thor and Storm’s matches.

for those with oml black, go with fist and hawkeye on that essential. fist can sometimes luck into a crit. if he does, its ususally enough for some oml strikes. get the strikes down before ss goes off, enemy dies. I just started hawkeye again and my 1/2/2 works great at taking advantage of the strikes. I always like hawkeye, but I think he was my last one sold off when I pared down to 5 2*s. i’ll be happy to have him back when he gets re-covered.

So fair i drained all nodes (7/7)… still, i am at 120th place.
2-days sub-events are crap - you either drop in ladder or do nodes without getting a single ISO or another reward… just sayin

Also is it odd that Peggy is going all the way to position 100 I always thought new characters went top 10 only?

It’s not about Peggy, it’s the double iso that is making the event competitive. And new characters have always been top 100 (since i started playing anyway).

It’s not about Peggy, it’s the double iso that is making the event competitive. And new characters have always been top 100 (since i started playing anyway).

Used to be T50 for individual and alliance placement.
Those were pretty insane times.
And people think alliance shuffling to make T100 is bad NOW.
