PvP enemies always level 141?

Is this due to a patch, or because I leveled up covers beyond some magical number? Every draw in PvP events now has at least one, usually two, level 141 covers to fight.

I think I screwed up by playing and leveling my cards.

Go to your shield training. Use any team, keep entering and retreating a fight. Keep doing this repeatedly until you see a change. Don’t expect it to be quick. Or for it to last long.

Thanks, can you provide a little more detail?

I am trying to fight in the PvP events, and starting mid way through Daken every enemy chosen was as I described. This also happens now in Lightning Round and SHIELD trial. Is there a trick to what you describe that will somehow reset the draws in other events?

Welcome to the big leagues. Once the game determines you can play with the big boys the fun ends. Prepared to be smacked around a lot in the next events (or until you decide you had enough and try playing an enjoyable game).

Just curious vayhle, what is your highest level character and how many do you have over 100?

Widow 141
Hood 120 (this started when i boosted him to 120)
Punisher 89
Few ** 85s, bunch of 50-70 for event boosts

I was so happy when I finally got a Ragnarok cover that allowed me to level him up to 89. “Now I can play him” I thought. So I used him in some PvP and my opponents went from 2 Level 85s to Punisher/OBW with Punisher over 100 (often 141). After doing, shall we say, not too well, I put Rags back into the toy chest and returned to using my normal 2x85 lineup. Pretty quickly I was back to facing (mostly) 2x85. This makes me think that it isn’t just what’s on your roster, but that who you use in battles might also influence your opponents.

It worked quite well until pretty recently.

So basically, I am being punished for playing and paying by making PvP nigh on impossible to rank?

Pretty much. You’re at the newly introduced “pay to level characters or never win again” phase of the game.
