So I’ve reached the 300 point total in the Daredevil PvP SCL8, slice 4. I’m place 147/1000 with 311 points. Decided to cycle thru a handful of matches in an attempt to find the juicy ones. And now I can’t find a single match worth more than 17 points.
Was there an update/alteration to the point structure in PvP that I missed? Getting to 900 seems rather tough at <20 points a natch.
Sometimes everyone who’s got a decent score and a team in range of your MMR is shielded. Sometimes the RNG within that pool just hits the low end of the bell curve for a while. I find I often get a somewhat different selection of targets if I wait for a couple of hours, and then go back in and start looking again.
to get different matchups I try
-playing a match in any other event
-simply wait, watch TV, while checking every now and then
-restart the game
They come and go…some events I’m climbing off 20 pointers. This event (gamora) I found 30-40 point queues the whole way up, which is rare and didn’t mind at all. Each match is a risk/return proposition - how much risk (health, loss of match, loss of points during match) vs return (points) am I looking at. If the match looks good, I hit. If not, I skip.
Like both above said - take a break by some means and often queue dynamics will change.
