I’ve been exchanging blows with another player for the last half hour or so, with both of us mostly winning against each other’s team (we both have the same: low level Iron Man model 40, OBW 62, Classic Storm 50 - he lost twice vs. my AI team though - I bet that annoyed him, long live unstoppable cascades! Anyway, where was I? Right!).
Rather strangely, after the last match, I got exactly zero points from him. Any idea what could have caused this? The win screen was the usual one, but it had 0 points as the reward.
Did you notice if your points actually went up or not? A few times I’ve had zero points from a match, only to find it was wrong and I actually did get them.
I could swear my score didn’t move, but then again, often the score in the match selection screen won’t move, until I go check the leaderboard or do another match.

I’ve had it a couple of times but my score does still go up.
I always assumed it because they put up a shield and the score display just gets confused.
I beat someone that was supposed to give me 30+ points, but in the results screen it said I got -1 point.
And yes, it did deduct a point from my score. I posted it in the bugs section but haven’t heard an explanation for it yet.
Sometimes when you are coming out of a win, the server will already apply your loss total to that win.
For instance, yesterday I attacked someone for 38 points. When I came out of the battle, I only received 16 points for it. A few seconds later, a "you’ve been attacked’ pop-up came out and showed I had lost 22 points to someone else.
In your case, you got hit for the exact amount you won.
