This would be too much of a tangent for other threads that have reminded me I’ve been wondering in this, but is there a possibility that 4a5 Nightcrawler could form part of an iHulk team that takes down Frankie teams? Mine is at 365, so I could push him to ascend, but if it’s not going to do anything I probably will hang on and try to max:mid or better.
I did some brief experimenting with 4a5 Purple Man, IHulk and 4 Nightcrawler a few weeks ago, and it seemed that Nightcrawler lived through some of the fights thanks to his going airborne in response to team damage. At 4 star though he isn’t really contributing much to the fight unless you stumble across a bamfinite. Purple Man could potentially help launch the bamfinite.

This is the perfect place for it! And yeah, he definitely could, the potential is there, it just want enough for me to focus him over others.
Part of the problem is his best ability is random you dont usually control what youre gonna get, so short of just surviving, he could betray you. On top of that, as soon as Frankie comes down, you need to protect him.
Mine is close to ascension too, but still so many others I have prioritized. I was really hoping for someone new that might reward / buff returning or going airborne. Its annoying Heimdal yellow AP gain only works if he sent them up.

Well if I end up ascending mine first I’ll let you know how it plays! I’m thinking I’ll also need to get Tinkerer to 5 star to get the most out of that team.
