Question about PvE events

Ok, actually it’s two questions.

1.) I read that the repeatable missions reset every 8 hours, so you can earn points again. I made good use of that during the Hulk event already too.
What I’m not sure about though, are these 8 hours globally for everyone at the same time or are they individually for each player?

2.) I know there is rubber banding for the points awarded during PvE events too. Does that mean for the current event with almost all missions being only repeatable once, it’s a huge waste to do them any time before the last hour of the event? Can you actually tell if a mission is repeatable or not without having beaten it first? I did all missions in Alaska except for the repeatable ones (I don’t have the requesite heroes for those) and I’m not even in the top 500. That makes me believe I should have waited until late in the event.

I never paid enough attention to the timing in the first hunt. I think it is supposed to be 8 hours after you complete the first mission.

Yes your strategy is correct if you cannot beat any of the repeatable missions. Once your rubber banding bows out to 10x mission base value then it doesn’t matter when you do them anymore.
