Question on boosted lists

First let me ask for confirmation: I’m pretty sure that boosted characters never change during an event, even if the event crosses from the prior week’s boosts into the current week’s boosts. If I’ve got that wrong, please let me know.

My question relates to when the start of an event crosses two boosted lists. For example, the November sneak peek:
Strange Sights starts on 11/07. I assume this is the first slice, and that subsequent slices would allow you to start on 11/08 or later.
The boosted list with 4-Star Ant-Man, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Thor, and Valkyrie ends on 11/07.
The boosted list with 4-Star Domino, Jean Grey, Miles Morales, Sabretooth, and Spider-Man begins on 11/08.
Does the choice of slice for the event determine which of the two boosted lists will apply?

I know when the event is available you can see which characters will be boosted, but I can’t recall if you pick a slice before you see the list or after, and I find myself with nothing to do besides thinking about this stuff while I sit here watching the last 1d 13h tick off the Sinister Six clock since between Alliance and Player progression I’ve got all the awards and have no interest in grinding away for the piddly ISO awards that pop up every 8 hours, waiting for that magical day when I can start earning CP again.

Bonus question (if applicable): If you had all the characters champed, which boost list would you rather have for the Strange Sights event?

I don’t know what you were looking at, but the boost list is as follows (at least currently; maybe it was wrong before).

(11/07/19 - 11/14/19) New Update

  • 4-Star: Domino, Jean Grey (All-New), Miles Morales, Sabretooth, Spider-Man (Infinity War)
  • 3-Star: Deadpool (It’s Me!), Gambit (Modern), Iron Fist (Danny Rand), Kamala Khan, Punisher (Dark Reign)
  • 2-Star: Ares, Storm (Classic)
  • 1-Star: Black Widow (Modern), Venom (DA)
    So for Strange Sights it will follow the above list.

Every boost list I can remember starts on a Thursday.

There was one time they ran a 7 day from a Sunday to a Sunday (or Monday to Monday) and the boost list for the PVE didn’t change in the middle, even though it officially changed on the Thursday. It only impacted the PVP events until the next PVE started.

I prefer the list that includes Sabretooth for Strange Sights. Those Mindless Ones…

It’s a good question, @helix72, glad you asked it. I always kind of wondered about events crossing the Thursday changeover, though I can’t remember a boosted list ever changing mid-event.

And like @bluewolf, I, too, prefer the Sabretooth list. By about a billion-to-one…
