As if we needed any more broken things in this game. I just finished 23rd in my quick battle bracket. When the prize was supposed to be revealed after the end of the round, it just showed the “round over” screen. I had to go to the vault to see that I got a booster pack. However, it was not a Kaladesh booster pack, but a Shadows Over Innistrad pack.
Did anyone else have this happen to them?

Well if it helps the programmers at all, the “Chandra’s Acolytes Expired” screen showed up after I won my next battle in Terrors in the Shadows.
Same exact thing happened to me. I finished somewhere around 20-25th (wasn’t paying attention) and got my crystals and booster but no idea if I even got my rare. And then after finished an event match it popped up and again I wasn’t paying attention and saw the quick battle ended notification as it was fading away so maybe it showed my card there.
Finished top 50 and got an Innistrad booster too.
Same here - SOI booster instead of Kala, dupe rare as a reward… The only upside is that the SOI booster contained a non-dupe, useful mythic

It was unlikely to change before the update, which I hope we will have today/tomorrow.
@brigby support said they would not do anything. This isn’t a sweep it under the rug thing. A prize was offered for a cost. It needs to be corrected. Time in game is absolutely worth something. This isn’t a “hypothetical reward” like when I have a perfect going in an event and their fucking seamless update screws me. This is an honest to goodness fuck up on the reward. Please help.
You really think that the clowns at D3 gives any care about you, here is their response to me! I have won 6 back to back QB’s and the wrong prize has been given to me each time.

Lol it is absolutely not a display issue. Next qb, I’m going to document this with screenshots. They are flat out wrong with their response to Killwind.
Acknowledging a “visual error” but not actually doing anything about it, is far from an understandable mistake. I get that they are hesitant to dole out compensation for every hiccup, but known QB events being advertised as something when they are not, is false advertising. Plain and simple. rng is a mystery to us all, but this is blatant deception with zero accountability
@Brigby @Hibernum_JC @Hibernum_Will can you guys please chime in on this. This is not a visual display error. This is false advertisement. Putting in 8-20 hours worth of time to win Origins or KLD and getting SOI is a kick in the nuts. It’s a simple fix, just give the rewards promised for the event winners. Why is it so hard to do this?
