Hi Everyone,

Here are the release notes for the R170 update!

MPQ 170!

  • Prepare to get your feet wet with the upcoming arrival of the Prince of Atlantis!
    What’s Changed:

  • Selecting the “Train Power with Cover” button can no longer select the “Train Power with Command Points” button in the Character Information page.

  • Many powers that were not playing a sound effect the first time they were fired are now correctly playing a sound effect. Here are the list of powers affected:

Certain powers not using their sound effects has been a bug for a looooong time. Glad to see this is getting some attention. (Yeah, I’m the one who plays MPQ with the sound on.)

D3 really has their ear to the ground on the major issues of the game and is fixing them!

Anyone else read this with a Scottish accent as a note that they still weren’t fixed?

And yet, no mention of the actual artifacts that are in the game. I wouldn’t have thought Cloak and Dagger of Emma Frost would be into artifacts. Is there a lore change? Are they investigating some Places of Power to dig around? Atlantis is probably going to be big on this. And Indiana Namor is swinging in right around the corner too.

The term “visual artifacts” would be a reference to rendering bugs in the game rather than something story related.

I play MPQ with sounds too my friend! And felt the missing sounds everyday at DDQ playing with Captain Marvel (Ms. Marvel) - Sonic Boom and Strategic Command… the animations just felt weird without them :lol:

I think they have pulled a bait and switch…Aquaman & Namor are both KINGS not Princes!

So it must be Aqualad.

Nice to see this fixed as it stung me just a few weeks back. Paying all that CP for a cover you dont even receive is crazy.

Maybe they misspelled Princess, and it’s Namorita all along?
