On iOS and locked out. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t work for me.
What worked for me the last time this happened (unity release) was to play through the prologue until I created a username. Submitted a ticket with both usernames, screenshots, and support restored my game. I submitted a ticket last night and hope it can be resolved today.
I appreciate your research! Thank you.
But … they fix it or they don’t. Kind of where I am.
I had the same for a couple of weeks though and they didn’t reply to my tickets. It was not until
I asked in discord via PM to the devs in there that someone looked into it.
woke up, checked my updates and installed them. who’s gonna come on here and check first? this is the second time the game has crashed out in less than a month. not to mention it won’t let me link to FB to back up my account anymore.
Welp, this is … this is bad. I’ll just put it down for a while. I’m too worried about losing everything if I mess with deleting and reinstalling, and hey it’s just a game, right? I don’t need to play it. There’s other games. See y’all on the other side … maybe.
It’s like these dev’s dont test anything for these updates. They are really testing the patience of the players. Hope it gets fixed soon for those who can’t get in
Lucky I haven’t had this problem but my suggestion (esp for those using Google backup) would be to exit MPQ and make sure you are logged into Google Play.
Whenever they have those free cover giveaways if you visit a website and enter your Id, I always have to close MPQ, go to the site via the browser and make sure I am logged into Google play and claim the reward and then open MPQ to get the free cover / HP etc.
So maybe you need to be sure you are logged into your Google play account in order to get the backup restored.
My android auto updated to build 327, so I had no choice in the matter. I saw blackscreen on startup and after winning a node. Restart fixed the issue.
You can blame management for making the decision to go to Unity with the known bugs but the devs blew this one. How was this patch ever released, where people are losing their accounts?
