Raid mechanic [Solved]

Firstly why can you not click on “raided” text to see what the mechanic is on cards. Storm the Vault for example.

Secondly what the he’ll is the mechanic. I just lost to AI where there were NO creatures attacking yet the AI gained to treasures and it flipped. Subsequenly the bext turn it cascaded off and I lost from commanding position which is garbage ! so what gives !

Were you playing Across Ixalan by any chance? The first node has a special rule where you get 1 treasure every few turns and the AI gets 2. That was probably it. Raid is a pretty poorly implemented mechanic (not sure why it can only be triggered once per turn and not on the same turn you attacked) but it does work properly

No it wasn’t. I know that one.

It was Trial of Ambition.
Its only creature attacked previous turn.

I killed it in my turn.

On his turn he casted Storm the Vault, nothing else…then got two treasures on his end step.

Oh, yeah that means it is working properly. Raid is based on whether or not you attacked the previous turn, not the current.

Have you done the Training fights in Story Mode? They come out with a new one every set to explain the new mechanics. I think Raid was covered there.

Just relax and wait a couple of turns when the screen fills with Blue gems. You’ll turn that frown upside down. Use Prying Blade to increase your enjoyment.

wow somwthing else that works nothing like paper

When we stop expecting it to we enjoy things more. You’ll find changing your expectations will help you more than anything else to find enjoyment and satisfaction at this point, no point constantly railing against the sky.

Considering how mana works, considering we puzzle match gems for said mana, considering we’re limited to 3 creatures at a time, etc. Why would you expect or want it to work like paper? There is a MTG mobile version, go get it if you want to play the paper game digitally. This is intended to be something different leveraging the same IP. I think the game is an awesome diversion from paper!!!..except for the constant bugs…
