X-Force Wolverine is the 4* feature character in Unstable Iso-8.
I have him at 4/4/5 lvl 214, and an additional cover in my que.
Purposefully, I waited to champ him assuming the difficulty of this event would be higher if I did this ahead of the event starting.
However, now that the event has started, will champing him now increase the difficulty?
Or is it ‘locked in’ since I’ve been clearing sub 1 at the stated level?
From what I understand the difficulty is set for each sub event at the start of the event based on the top 3 characters in your roster. So champing him in sub 2 won’t affect that subs difficulty but could affect sub 3s difficulty.
I could be wrong but I remember reading that somewhere.
You already have three champed 4*s so it’s also a question of whether the boosted count or not I guess…
Where do we stand on that at the moment?
The Essential node for XFW still has enemies highest level at level 303 (Ragnarok, Venom, Thug), so they have not increased due to champing.
I’ll report back when I see the levels on this same node on the next sub.

EDIT: Good news, on final sub enemy max levels are still 303 even after champing XFW during previous sub.
