Can we get a preview of the expected contents of the Standard prize pack?
Will it be dupe or non-dupe? Will it contain all of Standard, including PMA? Will it have the same rarity distribution as a regular set pack?
Since the event is so expensive - and a single loss can cost you a lot of value - it would be great to have full clarity into all details of the rewards.

Hello everyone,
Adding only the PMA Booster Pack (all colors) on February, 28th will be postponed. The separate Boosters for each color from the Puzzle Masters (PMA) set will continue to be available.
The event Battle from the Ages includes an Exclusive Cards Booster, with cards that are only available in this event. The Booster is non-duplicate and contains the following cards:
Mythic Creature Card Enduring Angel (MID)
Mythic Creature Card Moonveil Regent (MID)
Mythic Creature Card Avabruck Caretaker (VOW)
Mythic Support Card Necroduality (VOW)
Rebeca.

So does this mean that we won’t be able to acquire other PMA cards from the event? And what happens after 4 events when people start having all 4 cards?

I dont believe PMA cards were ever going to be available in this new event. All the PMA stuff is completely separate from this new event.
I would imagine the mythic rewards would be just like every other time we have gotten specific cards as rewards, once you acquire them you get dupes which are converted to runes/orbs. That was one of the best things about rising tensions back in the day, a guaranteed mythic 3-5 times a week, which amounted to 1500-2500 orbs a week.

And although I love PMA and that they’re always Standard, adding the new cards will now take so much gold to get the cards you want that it took away my willingness to buy the packs. 250 per pack times a gazillion is way too much.

There are now 90 PMA cards. At 250 each that’s 22,500 crystals. That’s quite a bit.

On February 28th, all Puzzle Masters (PMA) Booster packs will be merged into one Booster Pack only (all colours booster).

I hope this is a joke…
The PMA boosters always were a crystal sink, but this makes it infinitely worse. There certainly are good cards in PMA, but seriously, the only reasons to invest so much money in PMA are the moxes and only the moxes. Mixing the packs makes it much harder to get those, and you can’t even choose your colour anymore.
I have not checked all the new cards yet, but 45 times 250 crystals = ridiculous. And, of course, that will make it infinitely harder to get the moxes.

Conclusion: While you could argue that PMA always was a money grab, at least, it gave you a ‘fair’ chance to get that one mox you wanted. These changes will remove any illusion of ‘fair’.

It makes getting the best cards nearly impossible. We already use mana crystals to buy booster packs, Planeswalkers and get into events. I was “only” 8 exchanges away to get a green mox. Then they put 13 more cards I don’t want in the way. And for every color!!!

So, before this change, I had to spend at least 2,000 mana crystals to guarantee a mox. Now the same mox is worth 5,250 mana crystals!!! Really?!?

Not fun at all.

I wonder how many players joining the game this way…
