The elite pack this cycle is just a repeat of a prior cycle. I’ve never seen that before, but I haven’t been playing since elite packs first started. Is this normal? I do recall that Rhonas got offered in two different packs, but never a full repeat of a pack. It seems unnecessary when we’ve got mythics and masterpieces that haven’t been in elite packs yet. But I can see how it would be a good thing for some people who didn’t have enough unobtainium the 1st time around. Just curious what anyone knows or thinks about it.
Yes it is a repeat. My assumption is it has to do with the team turnover precluding anything novel for a while.
Yeah, what the actual fuck? Why did the Elite Pack repeat when there are a bunch of mythics and masterpieces from HOU that have never made it into one? @Brigby can you confirm if this is a defect?
Not only is it a repeat it is widely considered one of the worst elite packs ever made. Everything except hellfire is horrible in the pack. @Brigby
Completely agree. I thought the same exact thing, not just a repeat, it’s a repeat of the worst elite pack I’ve ever seen. Incredibly disappointing after waiting 2 weeks for something new.
if you must repeat, why couldn’t the repeat be the

Maybe the repeat is caused by the problem of cards not added to the card pool yet. I guess some mythics that were supposed to be in the next Elite pack are not available yet in the game because of the bug

Cheer Brigby. I hope you can take steps to mitigate the effects of this decision which you somehow manage to imply isn’t entirely under someone’s control. It must be weird working at a company where things just happen by magic.

What are you all expecting? He said this was not intended. A bug perhaps? That’s the nature of all bugs.
He’s looking for ways to fix it. You remember there is no dev team, right? There may be a vanishingly small number of things they can do at the moment.

It’s cute that people think this is a “bug”. Guess which elite pack will be coming out next cycle? I am guessing the next one that came after the current one last time.
We have no development team for content. Get used to it or quit playing would be my recommendation.
If it were intended, then Brigby would’ve told us that rather than telling us the new team was investigating on August 31. I don’t see why he would be dishonest. That being said, if he comes back 2 weeks later and tries to claim this was intended all along and will not be fixed going forward, I’ll have to assume bad faith.
The question then is where are we in the transition, is there a new studio lined up, have they started familiarizing themselves with the code?
@babar3355 my guess on the next elite pack is that it will be … nothing. Just like the last time it was bugged and there was nothing there.
