Weird… I thought PvP has no heroic mode, but halfway through the seed teams, I was forced into heroic mode… And it’s X-Men themed… Not a fan of that’s a thing in PvP…
And for the record, I’m on Steam 345.6 if that helps…
(Edit) After restarting Steam, it seems to be back to normal… But there goes my seed teams… 
Same here - wife and I both got pushed into X-men only after a few normal seals.
Wife discovered if you back in and out sometimes you pop out of “heroic” for character selection.
Hmm, not happening here, even completely restarting Steam.
Mine the upper and the right is heroic. Only one node in the left is normal
Edit : now all heroic. And my x-men is not strong enouh. Looks like not playing pvp
The annoying thing for me is when you get a retaliation on a node that forces response with an X-men team. Feels like a free hit for the opponent that is using their full roster.

The reporting is that it changes frequently. My recollection of the last run of this PvP is that this was how it worked then. A pile of random behavior. So who knows what’ll happen.
You get back to normal for a bit, then it changes again.
Just like every other day here.
