Simulator PVE that just launched has no Heroic option according to S1 players. Guess we’ll get to test our rosters another time..

Even scarier can you imagine if the sim did have a heroic?
Pick a really weak affiliation and people would be losing their minds.
Is this is deliberate? Is this another “this was supposed to happen but it didnt” we may never know.

. The shards are for Miles, but the required character in the node is Samurai Daken.

I just played Simulator in the flipped 1.10 bracket.
Heroics are in it and the right essentials were up, and boosted.
Hopefully that’s the case for everyone moving forward.
@TheMigz seems like you guys turned heroic on mid event. Thanks. I’ll be sending my ticket for lost placement as everyone that joined later now has a massive lead..

But i already do all the nodes. And can’t change to heroic. Looks like this time i get bad placement ini simulator
I just played Simulator flipped 1.10 and none of those things were true (ie no heroics, wrong essentials, essentials not boosted).
Just tried restarting the game, and of course essentials have changed dammit! Too late for me to go heroic of course.
What a mess. There seems to be one of the team asleep at the wheel again. Where is the QA for end users in this game? What is the justification for penalising people who played at the start of the event? There seems to me to be a huge disconnect between those running this game and the experience of this game in real time.

Fixing it with no explanation leaves a bad taste in one’s mouth. It didn’t do anything to my game play but why not just keep it off for the whole event if there was an entire section that couldn’t play Heroic from the beginning.

Man, WTH?? This is complete bull****! So, because you idiots decided to fix something AGAIN mid event everyone who has already started get screwed on their placement.. And not even so much as an acknowledgment to the fact that you screwed up in the first place. There better be some blanket, game wide compensation to make up for you guys screwing up and me losing my top 50 placement. I’m so over this. There’s no reason for you guys to be doing stupid things like fixing things in the middle of an event anymore. GET IT TOGETHER!

Anyone chasing T50 is all-in on this mess, right? we all just put up with whatever they do. We’ve played through missing events, a completely frozen out game when they released an update that locked everyone who downloaded it, buggy buggy buggy, we have devices that can run the mess that Unity made, put up with battery drain etc etc etc.
A mid-event shift to make an uneven playing field? almost a relief if that’s the worst thing happening.
If you are frustrated and annoyed…take a breath. look around you. find the things that really matter.
(it isn’t a match-3 superhero game)
If that doesn’t work, the usual advice applies.
Expect nothing and when you get it, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m not pissed because the game is constantly screwed up in so many ways, I’m pissed because these idiots ought to know by now not to fix something mid event that’s gonna affect the placement of every user in the event. I’m not even really upset about the fact that heroic wasn’t on there to begin with, s#!t happens. The game is all kind of screwed up because of unity. But this was a human decision to do something that was gonna drastically affect the placement of many players in the event. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of crap to be happening anymore. If it’s screwed up and you have a possible fix wait till the next time the event plays. And if their fix doesn’t work then just leave it alone until the next next time it runs. At least if it’s broken for everyone, then everyone is on a level playing field.
I agree with this, to be clear. I was kind of devil’s advocate-ing it.
I believe the devs have been told to fix things ASAP if it might result in players missing out on things and thus compensation. So Heroic nodes reward more things, and thus one could argue deserve compensation if those things are denied you.
But of course making things uneven like they did offers its own problems and possibly compensation. But but in general no one gets compensation for “missed placement” since you unfortunately can’t prove you really would have done as well as you think you would have.
I do think them fixing some stuff on the fly is really good (like the 6* shards missing from the Tower). I just think we need to realize they are trying to run a giant mess and there are people in Italy, the US and Australia trying to manage a buggy game which takes in far less than it used to and thus minimize costs.
Anyway just having low expectations has been helpful for me.
