This really isn’t a hugely important thing, but it seems like it would be easy to do, so I’ll ask. I’d love it if every Planeswalker that’s available to play in Puzzle Quest were also available as a profile picture. My in-game name is Elspeth, and it’s weird seeing that next to a picture of Ajani (even though Elspeth would probably approve of her bestie filling in for her).
Is this something other people would like to see?
I’d sure like to see it, just for variety. I know I’ll want to have Ugin’s mug next to my face.

I’m surprised that Ugin’s portrait isn’t available at all, now that he’s in the Vault.
I was really hoping, too… Especially since, after a couple games, I am just loving that see-through dragon-jerk.
I think they should have every in-game card available as an avatar as well.
Also, every out of game card available as an avatar. They can get them all from gatherer.wizards.com.
Also, I think it’d be neat if they let people pay to use ANY picture they liked as an avatar. Make it $10 or so, and moderate the submission just to make sure nobody submits anything offensive.
I think they were limiting it to cards that have a face in the art.
Have a look through the avatars and you’ll see quite a few that aren’t faces.
I want the Japanese art cards, too!
I hadn’t checked the available avatars for a while, so I do see a handful that aren’t some kind of head or face be it human or animal. Definitely seems that the VIP membership unlocks a lot more non-sentient items as avatars. The majority still are some kind of head.
