Looks like retreat health loss is back to about 30%. Is this a bug or intentional?
It’s a bug. There’s multiple threads about it in the Bugs forum, and demiurge_bagman confirmed it was unintentional and will be fixed.

I had a crash too and wondering why so much hp was taken off. I think it’s the dumb apps on my phone trying to update while playing the game. It only crashed when I saw that another app was trying to update.
Yeah I noticed the game’s crashing a lot more on Steam again. Only ever at the start of a game, as usual. It’s annoying in PvE and DDQ but I HATE it when it happens in PvP. Oh good, I just handed a free victory to someone and lost my points. How wonderful.
