"Retreat" Support triggers

I’m not sure if this is a bug, but for cards like these:

Are they meant to be 2 effects that are mutually inclusive? If so, then it’s working. If not, then it’s not working.

Yes, both effects are supposed to happen unlike in the paper version.

For these I feel like it should be worded, “landfall: if you have a creature in play, gain 2 life and give it +1/+1” (Retreat to Kazandu). Otherwise, let the card give the life gain without a creature on the board with its current wording.

I guess I misinterpreted what you were saying. So if you don’t have a creature for the buff effect, the lifegain doesn’t work? I didn’t play with it long enough to notice.

Correct. I feel like we should still gain life even if there’s no creature to get the +1/+1, but we don’t.
