Righteous Uppercut team-up already?

Anyone else get a “Righteous Uppercut” in PVE yet? Dude wrecked me with that thing! Quite a shock

i don’t get it, what do u mean man?

The AI has had Righteous Uppercut equipped as a team-up. It’s a skill that an unreleased character has.

If anyone catches the teamup, please provide ability stats!

o0o luke cage skill..
i don’t get it even more.. how the heck AI get it? icon_e_confused.gif

It got them while playing with its… ahem playing against itself on test server? icon_razz.gif

just another bug in the system. sure to be ignored like all the others

I ran into an enemy seed team equipped with good old Mr. Cage. Here’s the images in case anyone is curious:

Cool sneak preview, thanks. Seems a bit too high cost, but since enemy tus are all 2covers, it might get better.

Rather interesting that it will do more damage as a team up than when he is actually on your team.

The team-up is Level 140

Maybe it counts himself as one of them when he’s on your team, making three the max for him as a member or as a team up? They may be weird, because the wording of the power, you’d be guaranteed at least one instance of the bonus damage, but it’s a thought.

You can’t really count on wording in the game. Gorgon’s Awaken the Hand says ‘does X damage for each non-downed ally’ but it counts himself as an ally too, versus the standard wording for hand ninja which is ‘do X damage plus X for each non-downed ally’.

That’s a great still shot, how was the animation?

That’s a great still shot, how was the animation?

Very fast. I barely caught that shot - I’d say the entire animation lasts only about a second, two at the most. The first part of the animation (which I missed getting a screen cap of) is Luke squatting/crouching/looking fussy, getting ready to unleash the uppercut of righteousness.

That animation picture is weird – I don’t get what the clouds are for. It’s almost like he has a body odor problem, which doesn’t seem all that Righteous.

Heh, I sort of thought the same thing. I believe the clouds are meant to indicate the force with which Mr. Cage strikes whomever he’s judged naughty, (they move around a bit during the animation, perhaps stirring up dust from the ground as his uppercut propels his unlucky target skyward) but it does kind of look like he just caught a whiff of his own rancorous armpit and is about to say “Sweet Christmas! The enemy can wait, Luke Cage needs a bath! Now!”
