Do you know if it’s possible to change the announcement ‘Rocket and Groot is downed’ to ‘Rocket and Groot are downed’ as technically they are plural so it’s grammatically correct? It annoys me, a former teacher, every time I defeat this pesky twosome!

Now that you’ve pointed this out, it’s going to bother the heck out of me. 
I don’t remember where this would come up, to be honest.
I think they are referring to the banner they flash up when an AOE attack downs one of the background characters.
