I will soon get Ragnarok from dailies and the Simulator where I will also need it for the third phase.
I have 150 HP so I will be able to get an additional roster slot soon enough I guess.
My question is if I should keep the Cap covers or just sell them. I could have a max cap by now, also Daken could have been maxed out I sold him before. But I still have the three covers in the Prologue so I’m just missing 1/1.
Any general advice?
ps.: I know having Ares, Wolverine and Thor on 85 makes little sense but that is how it worked out for me, Wolvie was my first completely covered 2 star, Ares is my PVP defense, Thor my offense, so I want them both on 85. Just got my last Thor cover from The God of Lies and the last Ares from the Simulator.
pps.: I consider selling MBW to make space for Cap, later when I have space I would like to get Venom for the 1star battles. I barely use MBW at all she was a main stay until I got OBW high enough so bringing her to 40 was okay I think.
Having Ares, Thor, and AWolv all maxed isn’t bad. Your plan is exactly the right one: Ares on defense, Thor on offense.
P.S. - Don’t make room specifically for 2* Cap. Don’t be afraid to dump him. With the rate at which his covers seem to drop, you’ll be able to make 3 whole 2* Caps before maxing anyone actually useful.
Okay I sold all the 4 cap covers, but who should I sell for Ragnarok? I dont think I can make top 10 in the pve events that finish in 2 hours and then I wont be able to afford a roster slot in time.
I would say M Hawkeye and M BW are the most expendable, though personally I would just sell the Rag cover. If next set of subs has Rags as the required character, then maybe selling either M Hawkeye or M BW could be a decent win-now option. M BW is a nice option in 1* tourneys, but her covers are easy to come by so you only really lose the ISO that you spent on her (which is significant, not trying to trivialize that, but it’s not the end of the world if you lose that amount of ISO). M Hawkeye sucks but you have him fully covered so it may be difficult to let him go just like that
Rags isn’t useful in PvP outside of his own LRs. I can’t think of a PvP event where he’d be good. Every time where he’d be useful, you’d rather just use Ares instead.
Well the only event where Rag is decent besides the current simulator phase and specific Rags PVP events where he is required, is the Dark Avengers PVP event.
I guess until the next 1star tournament I will have enough roster space to get Venom up and running.
They didn’t help all that much, I tried them (max MNMags, lv 50 Cap). But anyway,
personally… I’d wait until the last moment and if you haven’t collected the necessary HP by then, I’d chuck X-Force Wolvie (Or invisible Woman, but I think Wolvie is worse). Yes, the 4* are hardest to come by. But are they really anything more than mantelpiece trophies? Whereas a 3* will help you unlock that essential node in a PvE one day, so I think it’s crucial to have at least one cover of each, if PvE is important to you. I’ve sold two or three 4* covers by now and I don’t regret it.
Alternatively, maybe drop modern Hawkeye - you haven’t pumped that much iso into him yet and he’s the least important 2* from your roster really, also his covers are common (I keep building him and then selling him…) and you’ll be able to rebuild him if you so wish.
I think the four stars are mantle pieces for the moment I would think that they will buff them at some point.
Invisible Woman needs just two buffs to be one of the best AI characters of the game.
Either not end her turn on green when there are no force bubbles or not be able to use it if there are none
Also her yellow is a bit too expensive for the effect. I would think to have it passively trigger if a team mate goes below 50% health would be great.
Anyways thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely wait for the last day or so. Season 1 is ending before the cover expires and I guess two or three PVP events that should be enough if I make it to 900 points
I’ll just adress this: Human Torch is mostly useful as a red/black cannon hiding behind your other guys. If you think that could be useful, go for him. If not, skip him. Your two-star roster looks decent, but it’s up to you to decide what you are missing or not.
There’s plenty of Red/Black/Green heroes (Hulk, Punisher, Gamora, Torch).
While TinyTorch can be useful, particularly in heroics, I don’t think he’s worth the extra approx 60k iso (including cover sales) to collect and level him. He’s a huge health pack suck with his low health. I generally would use him behind Wolverine/Daken, but you’ve already got the Hulk who is a better 3rd.
Did that change at some point? I thought PvE events get incredibly hard once you have a high level character because scaling is based on your highest character

Should I drop Hawkeye and 2 star Daken?
I also have MBW, MHawkeye and Juggs Covers waiting to max either of them out, but I guess my iso is better spent on Hulk, BP or LazyDaken, the last cover will be inbound on 10th of May.
Should I even bother with MNMags or just sell him?
I would like to get to 800 in the BP PVP for the third yellow cover but I doubt I can make it.
personally mnmags is still a very good utility player that works well with many red/blue users (can help feed torch, cap, daredevil, etc - probably others too but that’s what he does on my squad). among all the ** guys I would put his red as the best red (wolvie is higher damage but mags dumps a ton of ap on you as well, but is a 1 move cd so that has to be taken in to acct too) and the second best purple only behind obw’s purplehe is in my go-to big enchilada team (thormneto). I would take him over dr ock and beast for sure (and personally over several other ***s), but you may not miss him depending on how you use your characters.
He will certainly be moreuseful than Daken or Hawkeye even with almost no iso put into him. Maybe I ll raise him to 50 or so once i have him covered again.
