I’ve been saving my ISO for R75 and it’s finally time to spend it. I’ve got right at 200k, and not sure where to spend it.

So I’ve been wanting to take Hood to 166, and I really like the idea of taking Cyclops and Daken to 127 even though they aren’t fully covered, but maybe it makes more sense to bring Daredevil or Captain America to 166??? I like the idea of pairing Daredevil w/Patch but I think my ISO could be better spent right now.

Thoughts???

edit: and obviously I could dump some or all of it to take XF up to like 250 or so, but after the nerf I feel like it would be better spent elsewhere as well.

Personally I think Cap is ripe- he’s great at high levels especially in PVE. And I use Daredevil and Patch together all the time since his purple matches so well with Patch’s green. Mystique is good there too.

Leveling XF will only hurt your scaling/mmr. Capt. America will tremendously help in PvE and DDQ, not so much in PvP. Get that 5th blue though! Hood will help in PvP. Despite his low health, I still find him very dangerous/annoying and often skip him.

You have the 5 reds for Cap so that’s a no brainer but respec him to 3/5/5 as soon as you can. His yellow isn’t made all that better from 3 to 5 but blue gets a huge upgrade in usefulness. Captain Marvel is another great character if you respec her to 5/5/3. Her red is her most underappreciated power but it’s cheap and does 1400 damage. The kicker is that it destroys every single solitary enemy protect tile on the board. She is crucial for fights against bullseye, magneto, falcon and everybody else who generates them. It’s a lot easier to navigate the Gauntlet with her too. After those two Cyclops is great as is Patch who you need to get to 5/3/5. Patch opens up a world of opportunity and is the backbone of two of the greatest tag teams in the game, Hulkbomb and daredevil/patch.

I asked my alliance the same question and one guy pointed out that due to the diminishing marginal returns just implemented, it might be better to take 3-4 fully covered guys to ~150 than 1-2 guys to 166.

So I could have any 3 of Mystique, Storm, Hood, CMAgs, Cap, Cpt Marvel, Daredevil, Dr. Doom, Squirrel Girl at 153, or 1 at 153 and 1 at 166.

you’re ahead of me in the transition but I took 5 guys from 40 to 104 yesterday and brought others up to some intermediate levels. 40-104 costs ~14,500 iso (super cheap), so then at that point, they could be much more useful if featured/buffed and take on the trivial/easy nodes even if they’re not. I would take the plunge on cap first (all the way) and then take the most useful ones up to an intermediate level. Cyclops is a fav of mine - works wonders with cap/daredevil/torch (my cyc red is only 1 covers so he feeds others), but I don’t see torch on your list, so it might not be as great for your group as it is for mine.
