I find the argument weird. Roster Slot sales give a 20% discount off their cost.

Using 1000HP per roster slot as an example, a player with 5000hp will be able to buy 5 roster slot. A 20% discount mean that he will be able to buy 1.25 more roster slot. If roster slot cost 2000HP instead, he can buy 1.125 more roster slot.

Logan Loonies give a 100% bonus. So if they bought them, they will have an additional 2900hp. Even at 1000HP per slot, they can buy an additional 2.9 roster slot. At 2000HP per slot, he can buy 1.45 more roster slot.

Wouldn’t a 100% bonus be better at making players spend, rather than 20% off roster slot cost because players gain more from the former?

The only time 20% roster slot is better is when the players spend on Stark Salary or Asgard Treasure.

I guess it depends on where you are in the game, what your pile of HP looks like and what you need slots for. I would purchase multiple discounted roster slots to expand my 3* farm but I don’t need to buy HP to do that, it is just a cheaper use of an existing resource I already have a decent amount of. Until then, I will just “roster as I go”.

Just hit 300 rostered folks and roster slots are now 2000 HP. I was rostering multiples of 3s and 4s, now I don’t know what to do

I employ the Rule of Two. One Master (max champ) and One Apprentice (dupe to milk for rewards). All others can be deleted.

That’s where I am for threes and fours, I only have three one stars, may just go down to one

Generally, if your at 300 slots, you should be hp positive. So I wouldnt even blink at a 2k slot cost. I carry

2sets of 2
2 sets of 3
2 sets of 4*

the only real change I made was not buying splurge 40packs etc.

There has not been a slot sale since June or July 2019.
I keep thinking there will be one around specific holidays, but it just doesn’t happen.
I could be wrong, but I believe there were only 3 slot sales…

…and sometime mid year in 2019.

I am a HP Hoarder and would gladly spend most of my 209,000 HP on slots.
I bought slots in 2019, but only could afford enough to get to 275.
Now I have slowly crept up to 290.

If and when the slot sale occurs, I would look to get to around 500 to take advantage of the discount..
Just makes since to take advantage of the bargain.

Until that happens, I just cringe and buy one at a time.

Jeez, I thought I was hoarding with my measly 50,000 HP. I am humbled.

I stopped at 300 and have been selling off maxed 3s and now some 4s as I go to continue to roster new characters. I can’t explain my mentality, but I refuse to buy #301 for 2000 HP.
