I have enough iso for 1 of the following, Max out Rulk or Champ Blade? I also have 5 blade covers just sitting there. By the way i use RULK a lot

Why not both? How much iso are we talking here? If Blade is over 140, you should just bite the bullet and champ him so you don’t waste the covers.
Rulk (250) needs 78K ISO while Blade (131) needs 79K ISO. I only have 83K
I would say blade, purely for the covers. You have no time restriction with rulk.
You will get a LT and around 2.5k iso for the champ levels. Plus saving back up for rulk shouldnt take long.
There’s no reason not to champ 3*s if you can; it translates into better rewards per extra cover than just selling them.
I have yet to champ a 4 star, what are the rewards for champing and 4 star?
Pretty much the same as champing a threestar - ISO, HP, CP. Main difference is you don’t get covers for specific characters, you get Legendary tokens every 10 levels.

I’d champ Blade. He’s one of the best 3*'s, someone I just love to team with Iron Fist and Daken. He’ll help you out massively.
look at ROI. champing blade gets you an LT and starts the champ rewards. maxing rulk from 250 gets you a few (and probably not very many) extra skips, every once in a while. unless you have a cover to champ him, you can always come back to him after blade, and 70K more iso can be done by Thursday afternoon, or likely sooner if you hit stuff hard.
