Guess so though I was just able to log back in all events are gone pve and pvp and since I was in the middle of a pve battle my whole team lost due to the server outage. Someone owes me health packs because that was not MY fault…
Game is back up but my team is still wiped out sigh guess I’ll wait the 2 1/2 hrs for the health packs. I’m a little afraid to play right now anyway til they find out what happened.
This sucks! Just unshielded, won a match, connection lost right before points tally for the match. Get connection back, points lost, match lost, everyone dead.
Don’t know if there is a way around this on D3’s end but this should be fixed if it’s possible.
I found myself unable to do anything with the Doc Oc event due to having culled my ranks of 1 and 2 star characters some time ago - having a shortage of hero slots, I figured it was a good time to go ahead and buy hero points so I could slot low tier iron man or something to get in…bought twenty bucks in points, unlock 2 slots, game crashes. Now that it’s working again, the points are gone, slots are gone, and until my support ticket is processed ( included steam receipt and confirmation) , I still can’t participate and am steadily falling behind everyone who didn’t have this issue.
I don’t usually but I really need daken covers and had already pushed to 700, so I would be a easy likely target with a lot of points early and no way to shield.
But not so much upset about that as the fact that all boosts that I bought took my iso and only gave me what I used for the match and didn’t have the extra in inventory and that I lost everything associated with winning the match and it went down as a loss and everyone was killed (which took 3 health packs obviously).
I apologize for run-on sentence but how I play the game should not overshadow an obvious injustice.
So, turns out after some investigation that it was the result of some mandated server resets on the server farm side that our game play servers should have handled gracefully but obviously did not do so as well as they should have. Our guess is that a new generation of hamsters was being moved in and our old ones put up a valiant defense against being moved to the pastures. Failover meant that there was very little time when anything was unavailable, it just took a little time for everything to sync itself back up afterwards.
I would agree if I were one of those people but I have never been anywhere close to 1300. I’ve only broke 1000 twice in 9 months of playing this game.
Those people are exactly the reason I was trying to get ahead.
I don’t hold anything against D3, just bad luck on my part (I’ll deal). I just wanted to know if there was a way around losing the info in the lag time?
