In order to bring you the v1.6.0 update we will be performing scheduled server maintenance tomorrow, August 11, 2016 at 2 PM GMT (10 AM EDT/7 AM PDT).
During the maintenance period the game will be unavailable. Downtime is expected to last approximately 5 hours.
*Please note: there is a small chance that the maintenance period will need to be pushed to Friday morning (Aug. 12) instead of tomorrow. Should that be the case, we will update this thread, providing as much advance notice as possible.
Once this is done however… it’s going to be a rather fun update in terms of new cards. From what I saw from the current card pool (there’s another thread with the link), there are quite a number of commons/uncommons that are actually decent to must-haves. Not to mention the older zombie cards are suddenly… very appealing with the new ones being added!

Can someone post here when it should be up for android. Sometimes after an update or server maintenance it takes a few extra steps to reconnect and it’s not at all clear from the user side.
Is there some reason the app can’t be pushed out to be downloaded before the server patches so android and iOS can be even? Is it too much work to make new versions backwards compatible with the stuff server side?
Six hours of game downtime in the middle of a time-limited PvP event. Who thought that was a good idea?
Why couldn’t the update be delayed by a single day to de-conflict it with the event?
FYI, as of right now on Android there’s nothing to download in the Play store, and servers are still down (but maintenance message gone, just never gets server date).
I was able to log in and play the tutorial and see what was happening with the event about an hour ago, but I can’t anymore.
I got multiple sets of event rewards, but they were below my current ranking. The event looked like it was still going, but all charges of being able to play were reloaded, but it you gave an error when trying to play a game.
Your planeswalkers disappeared from the nodes too.
People on android, open play store and press the 3 lines in top left had corner. Go to my games and apps. Magic will be at the top of the list but won’t say update for some reason but if u press update all it will download anyway.
I’m in the UK and just installed it.
